Yes, this is the month we use to remember the things we are and should be thankful for. But in recent years, i have found myself being thankful every day for so many things. In spite of some ups and downs along the way there has been more of those "ups" and some of those "downs" have become "softer". I have been thankful!

That was just beautiful...everyday is just one big thank you in this household, also. We had a few "near misses" during the last couple of years and we are thankful we are all here, having family and friends to love and who love us back, sticking through the tough times.
We are almost thankful for the bumps, it makes us stronger and more appreciative of the really good times. Good families and good friends become closer, more to do together, more laughs, and more tears....more good times. Thank you for the reminder of all these special moments.

You are so right, that November is the perfect time for giving thanks. It's right before the hectic days of December and people are not quite in the frenzy of shopping for the holidays! Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday. It's one of the few times a year that I spend the whole day cooking a wonderful feast for my family, an easy day, no pressure and time for reflection of what we are thankful for. I am so thankful for my family by my side, for without them, life would have no meaning. I have lost loved ones but I am grateful that I at least had them in my life. I am also grateful for my friends, some old, and some new, but great friends nonetheless. I also give thanks for having a roof over our heads and food on the table, as there are some in this world who do not have these necessities of life. For those I pray. Sometimes in my life, I struggle day to day and then there are times, when things are a little easier. I give thanks for days that are easier!
